About Scott Mosby
Scott is President of Mosby Building Arts, a St. Louis residential remodeling firm founded in 1947 by his father, Sam Mosby. Scott grew up in the family business and worked summers as a carpenter. After college, he joined the family business as a carpenter, transitioned into a designer and construction manager. Scott bought his father's business in 1983 and has led the firm to local and national honors in the remodeling industry. The Mosby family has led the building arts in designing and remodeling luxury lifestyles for nearly 60 years.
Mosby Building Arts has been awarded Remodeling Magazine's Big 50 list of the nation's top remodeling firms, and placed in their national "Hall of Fame." The firm has won multiple local and national design awards including several Home Builder Association's Homer Awards.
Scott joined KMOX radio in November of 1996 as host of the "KMOX Home Improvement Show". Each Saturday, from 11 am to 2 pm, Scott uses his decades of construction and remodeling experience to help listeners with their home improvements questions.
Scott and his wife, Judy, live with their two sons in Glendale. Family activities include water & snow skiing, tennis, golf, white-water kayaking, Boy Scouts, little league sports, and reading.
