You Have A Bad Contractor When…

bad contractor 01.jpg
Rich Layton, our Total Home Solutions manager, passed by this residential work site several days in a row. On the first day, he figured the siding all over the lawn was a temporary thing, as they’d just started.

But a few days later, the mess was still in the yard. So, pictures were snapped as evidence of what NOT to do when remodeling.

How a construction crew treats the job site is a good indication of their work ethic. A neat and organized site usually ends with a good job done right the first time. A messy and chaotic site usually ends with a job half done and home owners hopping mad. Paying attention to details like this will help you decide which remodeling firms will give you quality for your dollar.

2006 Homer Awards.jpg

Every year, the Home Builders Association (HBA) hosts The Homer Awards, known in the industry as “The Academy Awards for Home Builders.” It’s a formal, Black Tie event honoring the best work of area new home builders and remodelors.

Mosby submitted two projects into this year’s competition, and both of them earned a Homer! Chesterfield Modern Ranch won Outstanding Total Renovation and Frontenac Home Office won for Outstanding Addition.

And we extend our thanks to the HBA for recognizing our commitment to insightful architecture and enduring remodeling.
