October 8th, 2007

The Acadmy Awards of the home building industry took place Saturday night, October 6th, and we were honored to win TWO Homers. One award was for Outstanding Addition, and the other award was for Outstanding Interior Renovation. Pictured above, left to right, is: Rich Layton, Jill Huckelberry, Rich Oris, Adrienne Morgan and Scott Mosby.

Above is Project Manager Rich Oris, a Homer Winning Veteran, who oversaw all production on the winning Central West End home. Unable to attend the event was Project Manager Rick Henson, responsible for overseeing the Outstanding Addition project. He was out of town celebrating his wedding anniversary, but will get his time with Homer for a job well done.

Our thanks to the Home Builders Association judges who picked these two projects for recognition, and to our clients who made these “outstanding” projects possible. And congratulations to the Mosby family members whose expertise and passion brought it all to life.

And after a night of merriment, one Homer went back to the office to rest up, while the other Homer was ready to unwind and see the outside world. Jill took him on a quick tour of the city…

And stops off for a quick pick-me-up before heading to mid-town.

Homer got some sun and fresh air at both Tower Grove and and Forest Parks…

…and delved into the arts and sciences at the Planetarium and the Art Museum. He’s now back at the office, but has been heard muttering under his breath: “Must. Get. Ted. Drewes…”

Yeah, you know that I’m thrilled for each of you. Made me tear-up(usual Irish position) to think that I know most of you personally and that you gave 110% to make my new addition as perfect as possible and it is wonderful.
Just this morning I told the County Assesor’s office inspecter about the company. Not sure I impressed him, but said that if a project has the Mosby name on it they can skip any inspections!!
Had to print out the awards pages to add to my project book and rememberances.
Continue to take good care of yourselfes and all whom you help.
Look forward to when I can have another project. Wish you knew about the bamboo mat for this yard!!
    Love, Jean
