We had the best time at the 2008 Spring Home & Garden Show! We got to catch up with past clients, shop selections with current clients (what better place to shop then the home show?) and meet so many interesting new people who expressed interest in having us make a positive difference to how they live in their home.
Another interesting aspect of the Home Show was having all of the Mosby team in one place at the same time. For instance, in the above photo, architect Brian and project manager Rick watch as planner and certified kitchen designer Adrienne works on a floor plan. Her work was projected onto an LCD monitor (to the right in the photo), and everyone walking by got to watch her work in real time. It was the perfect way to see exactly what goes on behind the scenes to bring a remodeling project to life.

It was especially fun when people brought blueprints and photos of their home to the show so we had a clear picture of where they are now and where they want to go. As shown above, the couple on the left got full benefit of the Mosby team mind as (from left to right) project manager Jill, selections coordinator Susie and consultant Julie listened to the homeowners and offered up a host of new ideas and smart ways to achieve their remodeling goals. It was an invigorating process, and illustrates why the Home Show is such a special event for us.

From inside our Mosby Solution Center, Scott broadcast his KMOX radio show for 3.5 hours. If you’ve been to a home show, you know how busy, noisy and populated it is. So imagine trying to concentrate on callers questions and special guests with a home improvement circus all around you! Scott’s the consummate professional, making a challenge look easy. Also, the Home Show is the only chance we have to see Scott in action at his “other job,” so we’re just as fascinated by the process as the rest of the public.

Shown above, Scott Mosby at the Solutions Help Desk, with architect Bob Lutz to the right of Scott. The Mosby Solution Center was a new concept that we introduced to the public, and it far exceeded expectations. We banded together with 6 of our trade partners and took care of - literally - hundreds of people. It was a pleasure to have so many qualified experts in one place, and it was just flat-out fun! Thanks to everyone who made it such a pleasant and productive experience, and we look forward to meeting up with you again in the following weeks.
