Mobility in Sunset Hills

From raising a family through to retirement, this home has served our client well. With an eye to the future, they called on the Certified Aging In-Place Specialists (CAPS) at Mosby to redesign their master bathroom to accommodate new phases of life.

This remodel is a perfect example of mobility access being as attractive as it is useful. The Woodharbor cabinetry has under-counter access for a chair or wheelchair. The toilet has a motion-sensitive lid that lifts as you near it, and a push button control panel for its functions. The shower has a low-clearance entrance, multiple grab bars and a retractable bench seat.

At first glance, it’s a beautifully updated master bath. Absorb the details, and it’s a new space that will take care of the families’ present and future needs with harmonious form and function.
