The original deck on this South St. Louis County home was failing, and since it needed to be replaced, the owners wanted to expand the size of the deck and add a screened-in area. We translated their idea into a bigger cedar deck with an octagon-shaped screened gazebo. We corrected the water management issues with new flashing and siding where the deck connects to the house, and we sealed all the wood surfaces to prolong the life of their new deck.
