Kirkwood Stairs & Flooring

Before

Our client desired a staircase to better match the stately proportions of their entry foyer, and also wanted it to connect to the lower level in a manner that would leave room for a gaming area. Removing carpet and laying a wood floor was also part of the improvement project.

Engineered hardwood in a natural walnut finish now graces the floors of the main level public spaces. Mosby architects designed a new staircase that added a landing so it could end at the new billiards table. Mosby carpenters crafted wood treads (with curved miters) and handrails stained to match the new floors.
